Our team members participated in the European Social Sciences History Conference 2025 in Leiden. We organized a panel titled “Expertise and gender equality discourse in post-war Central and Eastern Europe”, where Annina Gagyiova presented a paper: Sociological research as early traces of feminist thought: Zsuzsa Ferge and the quest for gender equality, and Marie Láníková spoke about: “Marriage and Me”: the Committee of Czechoslovak Women, the Vlasta magazine and the State Population Commission’s Spouse Survey (1965). FemEx team members joined two other panels during the conference, with the following presentation: Natalia Jarska: Women’s movement in Poland and IWY: international encounters (panel International Women's Year: Perspective from Eastern Europe) and Anna Dobrowolska: Is There a Third Way? Polish Responses to the Sexual Revolution (panel Rethinking 'Sexual Revolution' in post-war Europe).
